These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trail-Max website and your purchase of Trail-Max products. By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who we are

Trail-Max sells fresh, small-batch trail mix online at trail-max.com. You can reach us any time at info@trail-max.com.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. By ordering, you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

3. Products, pricing, and availability

We try to describe our products and prices accurately, but errors can occur. We may correct errors, update prices, and change or discontinue products at any time without notice. Prices are in U.S. dollars and exclude taxes and shipping unless stated otherwise.

4. Pre-orders

Some products are sold as pre-orders. When you place a pre-order, your payment method is authorized but not charged until the day your bag is packed and shipped. Estimated ship windows are estimates, not guarantees. You may cancel a pre-order at no charge before it is packed.

5. Subscriptions and recurring billing

If you choose a subscription, you authorize Trail-Max to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the cadence you select (for example, every 2, 4, 6, or 8 weeks) until you cancel. We will send a reminder before each charge. You can pause, skip, change cadence, or cancel at any time from your account or the link in any subscription email; changes apply to future orders. Cancelling stops future charges but does not retroactively refund a batch that has already shipped, which is instead covered by our Refund Policy.

6. Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. We may accept or decline any order, including for suspected fraud, pricing errors, or limits on quantities. Payment is processed by our payment provider; by ordering you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.

7. Shipping, returns, and refunds

Shipping is governed by our Shipping Policy, and returns and refunds by our Refund Policy. Both are incorporated into these Terms.

8. Food product; allergens; no health claims

Trail-Max products are food, not dietary supplements. Statements on this site have not been evaluated by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease. Our products are made with tree nuts and may contain or be processed alongside other allergens; please read the ingredients on each bag and do not consume if you have a relevant allergy. Always rely on the information printed on the physical package.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the site, attempt to disrupt it, infringe our or others' rights, or use it for any unlawful purpose.

10. Intellectual property

The Trail-Max name, logo, content, and design are owned by Trail-Max and its owner and are protected by applicable law. You may not copy, reproduce, or use them without our written permission.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

The site and products are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Trail-Max is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under applicable consumer-protection law.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold Trail-Max harmless from claims arising out of your breach of these Terms or your misuse of the site.

13. Governing law
